A day without a blog update is ... well it was yesterday. Let me tell you, I don't think I accomplished anything! Work was ... well I don't want to say it was horrendeous, but we got hit with this Nimda virus and could not get it off one machine. In fact - it's still there! oof. Anyway - speaking of the Internet and computers, The Register had three great articles yesterday - one about how some people think the Internet will be unusable by 2008, one where the US is trying to equate hackers with terrorists, and a third about a group telling web server people to drop Microsoft IIS (the target of many Internet attacks). The first two may be the most interesting.
Speaking of interesting - Ain't it Cool news has some pics of the upcoming live action Scooby-Doo film starring Freddie Prinze, Jr. and Sarah Michelle Geller up now. I think Scooby, Shaggy and Velma look great great - but Freddie and Daphne (played by FPjr & SMS) don't look so good. That's my opinion anyway.
Virus Alert: There's a bunch of viruses (viri?) out there right now so let me just say this: Never open attachements that end in .exe! .exe means that it is a program and that it will run on your computer. Have I made myself clear? Some common sense would help when dealing with email. You look both ways before crossing a street - think twice before opening attachments in your email. If you don't know what the attachment it or aren't sure - don't open it! You don't drink liquids that some stranger hands to you in an unmarked bottle - do you? OK so that was more of a vent than an alert - but its true.
Jason over at A Theme of Abscence pointed out this cool article about a founder of the Pink Pistols joining the Libertarian Party. I found interesting not for the Libertarian part of it, but the fact there was a group of gay gun-right activisits! Let the stereotypes fly out the window!
