Here I am, at work on a weekend again. I was hoping to just spend yesterday doing upgrades, but unfortunately - things didn't work according to plans. We got 8 other machines working fine, but it's that ninth one that sticks in my craw. Of course that's the machine that needs to be up and running. Some workarounds are in place, but I just don't like leaving it sort-of-working.

Thank goodness Julie has been so understanding about all of this. I've been putting in about 50-60 hours a week on this update project alone, and I still have a bunch of other crud to do. Things should be better now as a bunch of the department are back from vacation and I can start doing more of what I'm supposed to be doing -- coordinating.

I had really wanted to join the blogathon this year, but it looks like that's out of question. Maybe next year. ERF!
