House, house, house, work, house, house house... Can you see where my mind is right now? I'll be more coherent in about a month, I think.

In the meantime, go to see both a whole bunch of family this weekend. Julie's parents came down Friday, my parents came down Saturday and we met at both of my sisters' houses.

I got a birthday cake this weekend and it hit me that I really had missed not having something special this year for my birthday. Call it selfish or childish or whatever, but I did miss it. The cake this weekend took care of that! Thanks Mom!

Julie & I have been working on our house a bit, but not as much as her parents. They went great guns at cleaning up the place. I'm amazed. There were times where all I could do was step back and stay out of the way. Julie & I appreciate all the help. Thanks!

Work, thankfully, is slowing down for me. I plan to have a bunch of projects closed by the time my vacation comes next month. Let's hope things cooperate.
