It feels good

I'm finally getting stuff of my to-do list. I know, "Big Deal!" Well it is a big deal when most everything I've done in the past two and a half months has had to go through committee after task force after review group. Of course, each one has some sort of revision that needs to made before they are satisfied. Luckily a lot of that stuff is now finished as I think I have finally run out of people to run them past. ERF!

Today I also did a lot of updating on the Nebraska Library Association page. It felt really good to have something I could do and it is done. No review board, no ad hoc committee - just me and my work. It has been too long since I got to do that.

Now I'm not knocking having people review my work, its just I would like to be able to finish it and move on and not hear 20 people argue about the placement of a semi-colon. OK, slight exaggeration, but some days it certainly feels that way.
