Post Turkey Day recap

I hope everyone that celebrates Thanksgiving at this time had a plesant one. Julie & I held an impromtu dinner with my sis, C. when sis B. and her family got sick. {Get well soon!!} It was nice, we had a semi-traditional meal, but we all missed eating with the rest of the family. I hope Christmas treats us better. {grin}

The rest of the weekend was filled with work. I spent five hours on Saturday going over applications for a position at the library. That's a good way to really kill any brain resting you might have had planned. I also got to tromp around on my roof. Julie mowed the lawn to work in the leaves, and it looks pretty darn good. In fact, I think it looks better now than it did this summer.

Things are going to be nuts this week, but hopefully by the end of it, I will have either handed over a lot of projects to someone else or have finished them myself. After that - a trip to Portland, OR. If any of my loyal readers are from there, let me know!
