Why haven't I updated lately? Here's why:

  • At work (in addition to everything else I normally do):
    • chairing an ad hoc committee looking and supervisor evaluations
    • chairing an ad hoc task force to suggest ways that the library should manage its websites.
      This one is a bit of a powderkeg. I'm sure whatever we suggest and the Dean decides, there will be some unhappy folks
    • guest editing the next issue of the Nebraska Library Quarterly
    • creating an enhanced Computer Based Training Module for our automated library system
    • running a study, along with Charity M, that takes place this week, asking students to organize the main web page as they would like to see it
    • prepping a small presentation on computer literacy and library staff for Tuesday
    • planning another study for this summer, also along with Charity M, that will take us out of state looking at 7 metro libraries in the central Midwest area

    At home:

    • waiting to close on our new house. stressing is more like it
    • packing to move to our new house.
    • keeping Julie from packing stuff we'll need until we move {grin}
    • running a 30 days, 30 teams promotion at my new MaddenArt site

You could say I have a rather full plate right now.

Hey! It's my anniversary today! It also happens to be Julie's as well... what a coincidence! Happy anniversary hon!

Look at the last entry. Go on, I'll wait. .... OK notice the temperature? 90 degrees? Today's forcast: high of 34. Thick, wet snow was covering my car this morning. Again, welcome to springtime in Nebraska... ERF!
