Glad it wasn't Monday
Let me tell you about my morning yesterday. Nothing major, just a small series of minor incidents.
First I start out shoveling the walk, which is what you do after it snows. No problem. Then I get into my car to go to work. I realize something's wrong. I hear the engine, but I don't hear the fan. Next thing I know the windows are all fogged over and I know - I don't have heat or defrost. So instead of messing with it, I decide to take the bus. Of course, I just miss the one I wanted to take, so I wait in the cold for the next one. When I get to work I go to the vending machine to buy a pop. I get it and see that it already has a quarter of it missing. Needless to say, I didn't drink any of it.
Not the best morning, but by the end of the day it was all quickly forgotten and I actually felt like I made some headway on my projects instead of simply treading water, which is a feeling I've been having way too frequently lately.
I'd rather not have all my good days start with rough mornings, though.
