The process begins .... Again.

I just handed in the start of a mountain of paper work to begin my tenure process. Today it was just my vita and an official "I'm going up for tenure this year" letter. The next step is at the end of the month when I have to have a small portfolio ready for a small group of people from other universities review it. Next, an evaluation in late October-early November, and then the big deal. My review "folders" representing everything I've done in the past 5-6 years and the impact it has had is due in the beginning of December and the library faculty vote in mid-December.

Oh, and process will continue after that, ending sometime in June.

Patience is a virtue. I must remind myself of that.

I'm still here, just busy with life. I'm working on the first steps of my tenure process, the last steps of the annual Network Security review at work and dealing with life in general.

I'm not gone, but don't expect another post here until October...
