A geek goes back to his roots

I've been toying with getting my first laptop for some time now, and today I bit the bullet and got one of those new MacBooks. With all the presentations and traveling I've been doing, it just makes sense for me to have my own instead continuously borrowing from the Libraries.

So the title of my post, "A geek goes back to his roots" means that I returned to the Mac platform after leaving it when I went to college. I started my computing life on an Apple II plus, then moved to a classic Mac. College was mostly a PC place, so I switched. Now I'm going back after 15 years.

Is it that big of a deal? No, but I was sure got every body in the office looking while I unboxed and set up my new "toy".

I plan on sticking one of them on my PC at home, just so I pretend it is a Mac ..... NOT!
