A minor setback

OK, so in the last post I talked about how I'm changing my eating habits. I had also decided to start a new exercise regimen, mostly cardio, on Sunday. Well, that got put on hold as I somehow bruised the bottom of my foot. It's hard to do jumping jacks when you can barely stand on two feet. Oh well, I waited this long, waiting another few days won't hurt much, I guess.

Status

I still here, mucking around. It's been way too long since I updated. You'll have to forgive me as there was a lot of stuff I pushed to the back burner during my tenure process that needed some attention. Plus, I got sick. Out of the first two weeks of work, I was there 4 days. Some nasty stomach thing got me.

Oh well - enough of the past and onto the present. I'm wrapping up the last bit of paperwork for the third stage of my tenure proceedings. That's the last work I'll have to do on it, the rest will be out of my hands.

For the future - I'm changing some of my habits, specifically my eating & exercise habits. I've gained a bit of weight recently and I'm not happy about it. I'm doing something sensible, pretty much like this "No S" diet. Really just being a more careful about what I put into my body. This is not a quick fix, It'll take time, but hopefully I'll get back the good eating habits my Mom had instilled in me as a kid. That's more important to me than quickly shedding 10 pounds only to gain it back the second I mess up on a fad diet.
