A little early...

As I was driving back to Lincoln, I was flipping through radio stations and was astonished to hear Christmas music. It isn't even October yet and some stations are playing Christmas music. I listened for a bit, waiting for it to be just a commercial, but it wasn't.

Now, I have no problem with Christmas music, I actually like it. However, I don't like hearing it for 3+ months because by the time Christmas actually arrives, I'm burnt out on it.

So, if I'm a bit grouchy around December 24th and shouting "Bah, Humbug!", you'll know why.

On the road again

I'm in the middle of a three town swing. Yesterday was Hastings, today is Holdrege and Monday is McCook. I'm speaking about What's new in technology. That's hard to do in one hour, but it has been fun.

To those of you who are discovering this blog because of my talk, welcome!

So, umm... Happy Birthday!!

(So I'm not very eloquent at 6:00 in the morning, so what?)

Arrrgh!

Today was International Talk Like a Pirate Day and I forgot all about it!! Of course looking at the absolute lack of entries lately - you can guess I've missed a bunch of stuff.

Oh well, I guess I'll just have to say, "Shiver me Timbers!" and hope I remember next year.
