Mac Mania
Is it wrong of me to be very interested in the iLife and iWork 08 products that were recently announced? Especially since I work in a PC environment. I really want a PC version of iPhoto and Keynote! Oh well... Maybe with the next Mac OS, I'll bite the bullet and go completely dual platform; PC for most of my work, Mac for the A/V stuff.

You know Macs rule - that's why all the excitement. Woooo!
I can't wait for leopard - a lot of cool stuff and hopefully stable bootcamp.
And I want Linux versions of all of the above. Actually, there is a Linux program rivaling iPhoto, (F-spot) but nothing NEAR keynote or iMovie. Le Sigh.
Right now I'm Linux/Windows at home, I hope someday (after I graduate, perhaps) I can be Linux/Mac at home instead. Mybe I'm be the ultimate dork and have a Windows, Mac, Linux setup. woo!
I made the attempt to install Ubuntu into Windows XP running in Parallels in OS X - but I didn't have enough hard drive space. That would have been so cool (in relative terms I suppose) though if it had worked.
Ubuntu into Windows into OSX? Is that anything like a turduken? (Chicken stuffed into a duck stuffed into a turkey..)
Seriously, I'm a little bummed that my laptop is just below the specs for the new iMovie, I'm a little scared it won't be able to handle Leopard. Anybody know what the specs will be?
You should be fine.. I mean your laptop is less than a year old, isn't it?
I think they just don't make the Mac Books for video editing type stuff and they have the lesser video card.
I'm not worried about Leopard - I have Tiger running on an old G3 iMac.
